Tales From the Sippy Cup

A few weeks back, I was honored to be interviewed by Shari from  Tales From the Sippy Cup. She really got me thinking with her questions, and that’s a good thing. ;-) I appreciate that in the series, she is talking to other moms who juggle work/business and being a mom. There’s some great insight and inspiration from Part 1 as well (I’m Part 2). The interview went live today…go check it out, and let me know what you think!

While you’re at it, feel free to leave a little comment love for Shari on her post.

Oh, and Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone! Got my corned beef in the crockpot as I type this. What are you doing for dinner?

I enjoyed your interview on "www.talesfromthesippycup.com"! Very inspiring! As a FT professional new mom, I have been trying to "do it all" (sometimes succeeding, other times getting completely over-whelmed!). I have forgotten that in order to be a better me, I need to take care of me! Thanks for your great words!

I really enjoyed reading your interview Anney! It was inspirational, intelligent and very entertaining. This is my favorite quote from you,

"Don’t. You can’t. I’m not saying you can’t have it all, but you certainly can’t do it all. Prioritizing is key. Then learn to delegate, and learn to let some things go. Start valuing your time, and learn to outsource. And move forward even if something isn’t perfect."

We've had this conversation before- and you nailed it - I'm still trying to get this through my thick skull when I want to do it all and then fail =-) Thanks Anney!
