Valentine’s Day – Better than Ever

It seems like many people I know are celebrating Valentine’s Day a little differently this year than in years past. Maybe that’s because I know lots of people with small children, or maybe it’s just because it falls on a Sunday?

We’re doing a family day this year instead of a couple’s date. Brunch instead of dinner. But love still abounding. Maybe not quite as romantic, but that’s okay this time around. It’s just a Hallmark holiday anyway, right?

I believe that this year I know love differently than ever before, in a way that’s better than I ever experienced before. Maybe that’s because I’ve been married to the love of my life for yet another year, have a child who tells me she loves me, have known my friends and family a bit longer, have a business that I love…

Or maybe it’s just because I choose to see the love around me.

Love is a choice. How do you choose to see it around you?

    Although my husband and I did go out for a little alone time this year, we spent Valentine's day with our kids and hanging out. It was low key and I think sweeter because it drew us closer together. I think your website is great, and I follow you on twitter as well. Keep up the great work!
