1. Oscar de la Renta – This is so super cute. I love most anything magenta.

This is the time of year that always makes me think of going to tropical places. Maybe that’s because for many years (before becoming a mom), that’s what I did right about now – plan my upcoming trip. I’d spend my free time, combing the stores, looking for great ideas of what I might wear on my tropical getaway. I’d buy a few things in anticipation, but mostly I used it as inspiration for what I already had in my closet, and for creating new jewelry pieces to wear while there.

So while I’m not going this year, a girl can dream, right?

I put together a few pictures of what I’m loving from the runways of the 2010 Resort season (thanks to Style.com). Who knows, maybe I’ll pick something up for my birthday in a few weeks, or maybe I’ll just go make something new to wear? Either way, there’s some great stuff out there, and it might just get your style juices flowing…let me know what you think or maybe you have some to share?
