Simone's Blog Entry 12.7.09

Simone is my almost 2-year-old daughter. She’s really cool. She’s also really smart.

I keep my notes in a journal. Simone realizes that, and apparently also makes notes in it while I’m not looking. The funny thing is, I found this on the last page, marked “next” with a ribbon bookmark, so she knows where to begin. (Or where I last left off.) This takes up the whole page of the journal, so I thought I’d share. Of course I’m biased – but I know it has significance. Or maybe it’s just a picture of a turkey. What’s your take?

    No, no, no... It is a little girl on her knees praying as viewed from behind. You can see her pony tail at the top right and the bottoms of her feet that the artist did not finish.

    I thought it was an ampersand...("And") - only Simone knows.

    It's either Heckle or Jeckle. Maybe Simone is a fan of old school cartoons. You can tell she spent a lot of time on it by the dots is the lines where the ink bled.
